Lowe’s donates tools to MHS
Lowe’s and Kobalt Tools in partnership with SkillsUSA are helping the next generation of skilled trade professionals at Middlesex High School through their new “Tough Tools for Cool Schools” program. Lowe’s is donating approximately $600 worth of Kobalt tools to the school as part of the new national program.
Leah Therrien, a sophomore at Middlesex High, has been awarded a scholarship by the Rotary Club of Middlesex to attend the Summer Chesapeake Bay Conference June 22-26.

On May 11, students attending Rappahannock Community College’s Glenns Campus nurse aide program completed the requirements for graduation. New classes for RCC’s nurse aide program will begin soon.

Parent Child Development Corporation celebrated Week of the Young Child a few weeks ago. As part of this celebration, the Middlesex Head Start classroom invited some community partners from the county to come and read with the children.
