GED tests are offered
GED testing will be held from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 19, at Acquinton Elementary School, 18550 King William Road, King William. If interested in taking the GED test, please call the Middle Peninsula R.A.C.E. office at 804-769-1151 for more information on registration.

Elliott earns award
imageMatthew Elliott of Mechanicsville has been presented the Lexus of Richmond Pursuit of Perfection Leadership Award. The award recognizes student athletes for their academic achievements, athletic accomplishments, leadership, citizenship, and community service.


Parents invited to meet with school officials
Each month, Middlesex School Superintendent Dr. James Lane has hosted a meeting at each school to allow parents and community members the opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns about the school division as part of a monthly coffee session.


Market Days teaches students about money
imageThe first grade classes at Middlesex Elementary School (MES) have been studying about producers, consumers, goods/services, wants and needs, and money. Each student became a producer and made goods such as picture frames, jewelry boxes, sun catchers, sun visors, beaded necklaces, and much more for them to sell at Market Days.
