Frazier earns PhD in technology education
Maurice Frazier finished the Technology Education PhD Program at Old Dominion University on April 2. He defended his dissertation titled, "The Effect of Technology Education on Student State Standardized Test Scores."

On April 17, the Middlesex High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter traveled to Reston to attend the FBLA State Leadership Conference. FBLA is the largest student-run organization in the world. Virginia has over 15,000 members.

Four Middlesex High School band students were accepted into the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula Area Band this year. They rehearsed and performed on March 19-20 at Mathews High School with students from schools on the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula.

At Rappahannock Community College’s 37th Commencement the featured speaker will be Dr. Pamela Fox, president of Mary Baldwin College. An active scholar and instructor, Fox has written widely on research topics including 18th-century composer Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, and music in Boston at the turn of the last century.
