ABE/GED classes offered at Del. Hodges’ Urbanna office
Delegate Keith Hodges (R-98) recently announced that his legislative district office at 230 Virginia Street in Urbanna will host day-time ABE/GED classes. Middle Peninsula Regional Adult Continuing Education (MP R.A.C.E.) serves the counties of Essex, Gloucester, King and Queen, King William, Mathews, and Middlesex, and the Town of West Point.

Academy students sign school Honor Code
imageFollowing discussion in advisory groups on the ways that honor is displayed on a daily basis in school—during tests, on the athletic field, in peer and teacher relationships, when conducting internet research, and with regard to school and personal property—students are directed by student council officers to queue up to sign the school’s Honor Code.


MHS Homecoming Parade is Friday
Middlesex High School will hold its annual Homecoming Parade on Friday, October 5, at 5 p.m. The parade route will begin at the courthouse in Saluda, and end at the high school. Each class at MHS will have a float in the parade. Some clubs from St. Clare Walker Middle and Middlesex Elementary schools also will have floats in the parade.
