Lifelong learning course discovers founding fathers
A new course to be offered by the Rappahannock Community College Educational Foundation’s Rappahannock Institute for Lifelong Learning (RILL) is “Athens of the New World—Founding Fathers of the Northern Neck.”

Crittenden earns masters degree

Eleven county students attend Governor’s School
imageThe theme of the 2012 Middle Peninsula Summer Regional Governor’s School was “Touching Tomorrow Today.” Approximately 135 third through seventh grade identified gifted students from nine school divisions attended, including 11 from Middlesex County. A committee in each school division selected the students who participated.


Chesapeake Academy oyster roast set for Oct. 13
Parent chairs Camille Bragg and Jenny Johnson have announced that the 11th annual Chesapeake Academy Community Oyster Roast will be held on October 13 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the school’s Rowe Campus in Irvington.
