Governor’s School at Glenns graduates 15
The Glenns Campus of the Chesapeake Bay Governor’s School graduated 15 seniors on May 26. Seven of those seniors received the CBGS Community Service Award for at least 120 hours completed over their three years in the program. One senior, Jerrica Rawls, was awarded her Associate’s Degree from Rappahannock Community College.

Scott to attend leadership training camp
Jaris Scott, son of Garnell and Deborah Scott Sr. and grandson of Theodore and Veolia Scott of Saluda, is a rising junior at Hampton University pursuing a bachelor of science degree in computer information systems.


VCTA and MetroCast award seven scholarships
Seven outstanding area students have been named 2011-12 Virginia’s Future Leaders Scholarship winners by the Virginia Cable Telecommunications Association (VCTA), the Donald A. Perry Foundation, and MetroCast.


MHS graduation set for Saturday
imageAbout 90 members of the Middlesex High School Class of 2012 will graduate on Saturday, June 16, in the John S. Clements Memorial Gymnasium in Saluda. The graduation speaker will be retired U.S. Marine D. Bowen Richwine Jr.
