Time for seniors to complete the FAFSA
High school seniors planning to attend college or technical school this fall should fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also called the FAFSA, as soon as possible. The information on the FAFSA determines if students qualify for federal and state grants and for federal student loans.

Lauren Harrow graduated from the James Madison University School of Nursing on December 17, 2011. Harrow was the secretary of her class and was an active member of the Nursing Student Association. She was awarded the Victoria Alcantara Outstanding Student Award during her pinning ceremony.

Since 1964, when 18-year-old Nuala Glennon emigrated from Ireland to the United States in search of employment, she has earned two degrees and accumulated decades of job experience, culminating in her 2002 appointment as Rappahannock Community College’s Glenns Campus dean. She retired at the end of December.
