Schools will block out controversial paragraph in 4th grade history book
Middlesex County school officials reported on November 8 they will follow the State Board of Education’s recommendation to use “sticker labels” to block from view a paragraph in the fourth grade history textbook that states that “thousands of African Americans fought for the South during the Civil War.”

The Middlesex High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Chapter has started its annual toy drive for the Association for the Support of Children With Cancer (ASK). The toy drive will run through November 30 when FBLA will host a gift wrapping party and potluck dinner at the high school.
