 The Town of Urbanna was created on paper by the British Act of Cohabitation in 1680 in an effort by the English to establish towns, centers of commerce and appropriate locations for custom houses to regulate a growing tobacco trade in the Virginia colony.Enjoy Tommy’s on the Waterfront  Known for its traditional steakhouse and fish house fare, Tommy’s menu offers an array of seafood entrees including crabcakes, several fish selections, soft shell crabs, scallops, shrimp and more, and offers several preparations for each. Dolphins frequent local waters
 Surf’s up on the Potomac and Rappahannock rivers for dolphins.
