Walter N. Brooks
Walter N. Brooks, 69, of Church View, a retired waterman, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010.
He was a member of White Stone Baptist Church and was predeceased by his wife, Gloria A. Brooks, and a daughter, Wanda Mae Brooks.
He is survived by his wife Eunice; children, Anthony E. “Tony” Brooks and wife Lois Jean, Donna B. Davis and husband Michael, and Madeline L. “Punky” Brooks and fiancé Jeffrey Burrell; brother, William F. “Billy” Brooks; sister, Mary Cutrell; grandchildren, Daniel, Travis, Rachel, Brent and Tyler; stepchildren, Benny Balderson and wife Robin, Randy Balderson and wife Mary, Diane Balderson, Ricky Balderson and wife Cindy, and Beth Howard; step-grandchildren, Ben, Dawn, Justin, Samantha, Ashley and Carol Anne; and step-great-grandchildren, Trinity, Kyiah and Skye.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. Interment will be in Middlesex Memorial Cemetery, Urbanna.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, August 27, at the funeral home.
