Walter G. Lowe Sr.
Walter Garland Lowe Sr., 80, born February 25, 1931, departed this life on December 30, 2011.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Delores; sons, Walter Garland Lowe Jr. (Kelly); Donald Ray Lowe (Becky); daughters, Margie Nagle (Chip), Laura Lowe and Julie Lowe; grandchildren, Michelle Trammell (Scott), Gary Lowe (Heather), Greg Lowe, Brian Lowe (Becky) and Ryan Simmons; great-grandchildren, Catie and Matthew Lowe, and Jali and Ryan Trammell; sisters, Edith Flora and Margaret Swinson (David).
He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army.
The family will receive friends 1-5 p.m. Saturday, January 7, at Bliley’s —Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., Richmond. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to a charity of your choice or your church.
