Homegoing services for Mrs. Virginia E. Smith, who departed this life August 12, 2010, will be Saturday, August 21, at 10 a.m. from Lebanon Worship Center Church, Saluda, with the Rev. Teresa Sutherlin officiating.

Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery, Urbanna. The viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Smith is survived by two sons, Charles and Terry Smith; three daughters, Carolyn White, Jean Hodges and Sandra Smith; one stepdaughter, Catherine Holmes; one brother-in-law, Austin Smith; one sister-in-law, Christine Burrell; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Professional services entrusted to White-Tidewater Funeral Home, Jamaica.
