Phil Armstead
Phil Armstead, 73, of Remlik, a retired field technician with Southern States, died Saturday, July 10, 2010.
He was predeceased by sisters Margaret and Catherine, and brothers, William and Marvin Brown.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nancy G. Armstead; his son, Jerry and wife Paula Armstead of West Point; his daughter Jackie and husband Tony Ishkanian of Mechanicsville; granddaughter Taylor, grandson Kenneth and step-grandson Brandon; and one sister, Gloria Mitchell, and one brother, Woodson Armstead, and wife Virginia, all of Wake.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, in Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda. Interment will be in Remlik Memorial Gardens, Remlik. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, at the funeral home. Memorial gifts may be made to Remlik Wesleyan Church, 370 Burch Road, Urbanna, VA 23175.
