Patsy (Arthur) Hall, 73, widow of Karl August Hall Jr. of Waynesboro, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 in Harrisonburg Health and Rehab Center.
She was born October 19, 1938 in Lynchburg, a daughter of the late Lewis E. and Blanche (Nichols) Arthur.
Mrs. Hall was a very active member of Stuarts Draft Baptist Church and Zoar Baptist Church in Deltaville. Patsy was owner of Hall Industries in Fishersville. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren playing in their sport activities, she had a card ministry, and enjoyed spending time on the water with her family.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Arthur.
Survivors include a son, Brad Hall of Waynesboro; a daughter, Dee Anne Lucas and her husband H. Keith Lucas of Verona; a sister, Carolyn Branch and her husband W.D. Branch of Big Island; two grandchildren, Blake Lucas and Kylie Lucas; extended family members, including a sister-in-law, Alma and Lewie Heilman, Miles and Jill Truslow, and a number of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, in Coffman Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Karl Heilman. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday, January 9, in the funeral home and other times at the residence of her daughter and son-in-law, Dee Anne and Keith Lucas, 153 River View Dr. in Verona.
Active pallbearers will be current and former employees, Donnie Clinedinst, Bill Kempton, Steve Smith, Steve Spradlin, Jared Truslow, Chase Rowzie, Jamie Babb and Wayne Via.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of her Sunday School Class at Stuarts Draft Baptist Church.
It is suggested that memorial contributions be made to Stuarts Draft Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1054, Stuarts Draft, VA 24477, or to the Gideon’s International, P.O. Box 2711, Staunton, VA 24401-2711.
Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory, 230 Frontier Drive, Staunton, is in charge of her arrangements.
