Naomi J. Clements
Naomi Jackson Clements, 96, of Deltaville, widow of Rev. Peter H. Clements Sr., died Tuesday, August 5, 2008. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church, Deltaville.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Rubye Burtoff and Mary Hellman; and one granddaughter, Rosemary Warren.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Rae Clements of Deltaville, and Rosetta C. DeIulio and her husband Joseph of Williamsburg; a son, Peter H. Clements, Jr. of Merritt Island, Florida; a sister, Stella J. Batley of Deltaville; brother, Chisely Jackson of Petersburg; 11 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, August 8, in Zoar Baptist Church. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, August 7, at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Saluda. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Zoar Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1010, Deltaville, VA 23043.
