Mildred Ward
Mildred “Lee” Ward, 85 of Urbanna, widow of Floyd C. Ward, died Sunday, January 15, 2012. She attended Urbanna United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Pete Ward, and his wife Joanie, and a daughter, Peggy Walton, and her husband Tony, all of Urbanna; two sisters, Edna Harmon of Virginia Beach and Janie Owens of St. Petersburg, Fla; a brother, Marvin Ray Craft of Jacksonville, Fla; four grandchildren, Brian, Ron, Shannon and Kristy; and seven great-grandchildren, Jordan, Hailey, Carson, Laura, Mallory, Hannah and Carly.
Graveside funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, at Middlesex Memorial Cemetery, Urbanna. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements by Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
