Mary B. Johnson
Mary Bryant Johnson, 85, of Charles City, died Saturday, December 1, 2012. She retired from State Water Control Board in Richmond. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Johnson; parents, Frank and Clara Bryant; and a stepson, James B. Johnson.
Mary is survived by her children, Sara J. Comer of Charles City, Frank A. Johnson of Deltaville, George M. “Mike” Johnson of Charles City, and Eric A. Johnson of Urbanna. She is also survived by her stepchildren, Roland J. Johnson of Richmond, William D. Johnson of Charles City, Charles G. Johnson of Richmond, and Pam Johnson of Richmond; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service was held December 5 at Memorial United Methodist Church, Charles City. Burial was in Westover Episcopal Church Cemetery.
