Marjorie F. Albright

Marjorie Fields Albright entered into eternal rest on Nov. 4, 2008 in Charlottesville.

She was born on Dec. 6, 1923 in Middlesex County to the late Christopher Fields and Annie Fields. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Albright Jr.; two brothers, Howard Fields and Christopher Fields; and two sisters, Evelyn Brown and Shirley Fields.

After graduating from high school in Middlesex, she attended St. Phillips Hospital School of Nursing where she earned a degree in nursing.

After her marriage, she moved to Roxboro, N.C., where she worked at the Person County Health Department until her retirement.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Church View. After moving to North Carolina she joined First Baptist Church of Roxboro and remained a faithful member until her illness.

Survivors include her devoted son, John WIlliam Albright III of Charlottesville; three sisters, Dorothy Green of Glen Burnie, Md., Helen Fitzpatrick of Columbia, Md., and Emma Jordan of Severna Park, Md.; two sisters-in law, Doris Fields of Water View, and Mary Albright of Burlington, N.C.; two brothers-in-law, Irving Green of Glen Burnie, Md., and James Fitzpatrick of Columbia, Md.; and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews and friends.
