Lynn R. Kelley
Lynn Rondinone Kelley, 70, of Saluda passed away after a brief illness at Hospice House of Williamsburg on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
Among her survivors is her partner, William K. Wills Jr.; Dog Pip; brother, Jeff and Rochelle Rondinone; daughters, Erin Evelyn and Mike Williams, Shannon Kelley and Nicole Brandt, and Meighan Kelley. Her extended family included nephews, Troy and Kathleen Rondinone, and David and Shana Rondinone; children, Kelly and Justin Dalton, Alex and Chris Liotta, Samantha and Ian George, and Will and Emily Wills; and was “Mimi” to 11 grandchildren.
Lynn spent 30 plus years in health care at Williamsburg Community Hospital and The Williamsburg Health Care Foundation. After retiring in 2007, she pursued her passions of quilting and gardening, as well as tending to her vast flocks, bluebirds and hummingbirds included. They were tasks she pursued with the zeal and purpose of a master craftsman. After once mentioning “She knew an adventure was going to happen,” little did she know that she’d move four times, build a log cabin, remodel a mobile home on the water, help build two boats, help run a sheep farm, raise two Border Collies and an Australian Shepherd, as well as bring a smile to the heart of everyone she met. Rest in peace Lynn Rondinone Kelley, your Spirit of calm on troubled waters has blessed so many.
The family held a celebration of life at Bucktrout Funeral Home in Williamsburg on Saturday, December, 7. The family requests that donations be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg, 4445 Powhatan Parkway, Williamsburg, VA 23188 in lieu of flowers.
