Kendall Wilson Paul, 84, of Hartfield, formerly of Richmond, died Monday, August 3, 2009.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane; his daughter, Janice Moody and her husband Sam; his son, Bradford Paul and his wife Diane; step-daughters, Shannon and Stephanie Stocks; sister, Katherine Paul Myers and her husband Frank; and sister-in-law, Cathryn Grey Paul.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Grady Paul and Clarence Paul, and his wife, Ann West Paul.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, including the invasion of Okinawa and the occupation of Japan.
He was a graduate of T.C. Williams Law School at the University of Richmond. He was a partner in several law firms in Richmond, concluding his practice as a sole practitioner. He was a substitute judge in the General District Court of the City of Richmond.
The family expresses their gratitude to the Riverside Walter Reed Hospice for its compassionate care and concern.
Friends and family will gather at Mr. Paul’s home in Hartfield on Saturday, August 8, from 1 to 4 p.m.
