Doris V. Bowen, 81, of Deltaville died Thursday, August 30, 2012. She was the widow of Harry H. “Bud” Bowen Sr.
She is survived by her children, Joyce B. Blake (David) of Topping, Harry H. Bowen Jr. of Virginia Beach, and Todd C. Bowen Sr. of Deltaville; a sister, Eutha Hartmon of New Orleans, La.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial gifts be made to the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 98, Deltaville, VA 23043. Arrangements by Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Saluda.
