Charles W. Dunlevy Sr.
Charles W. Dunlevy Sr., 77, of Topping died Thursday, February 7, 2013. He was a retired foreman having worked on marine construction projects from Norfolk to Boston, Mass. Charlie was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church and local Union 2311, Washington D.C.
He was predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Lillian Dunlevy; a brother, Hugh; and a half-brother, Bobby.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley R. Dunlevy; children, Sheila R. Thacker (Robert), Charles W. “Bunny” Dunlevy Jr. (Jan), and Keith H. Dunlevy (Denise); grandchildren, Charles Dale Dunlevy, Judson Dunlevy, Donncuan Dunlevy, Lauren Wells, Eugene Dunlevy and Julian Thacker; great-grandchildren, Ariana Dunlevy, Brooklyn Dunlevy and Charles David “Charlie” Dunlevy; sisters, Elizabeth Hurley, Annie Lee Thomas, Marie Bryant, Jean Dutton, Virginia Kelly and Patricia Jackson; and brother, Johnny Dunlevy.
Funeral services were held Sunday in Harmony Grove Baptist Church, Topping. Interment was in the church cemetery.
