After 92 years of bringing joy to everyone around her, Audrey Lee Sidoli was granted her angel wings on December 22, 2013 where she will be once again united with her husband, Eugene (Geno) Sidoli.

Audrey’s journey of life started in Green County, Va., on January, 23 1921. Audrey was also a former resident of Henrico before moving to Deltaville in 1982 where she was adored and loved by all. She was a staple to this small community because of her kindness and her humor, and she presented such a kindness in her smile that would make anyone’s day better. She had so many great stories to share with everyone about her life experiences and offered many quotes on life in general, one of those being “to have a friend, you have to be a friend.” Living by quotes such as this one is what made Audrey such a special person, neighbor and friend. A big part of her life was attending the Catholic Church of the Visitation in Topping. She will be missed greatly by her Friday breakfast club, the senior citizens lunch club, her church family and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard T. (Tom) and Florence (Sis) Shifflett; six brothers; and three sisters.

She is survived by nephews, Roy (Sally) Wyant, Donald Wyant, Rodney Shifflett and Delma Shifflett; nieces, Aileen Roberts and Brenda Thacker; as well as her very dear friends Laurence Delmore III and Rev. Robert Cummins Jr.

A tribute and celebration of Audrey’s life will be held at the Catholic Church of the Visitation in Topping on Wednesday, January 15, at 2 p.m. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church social hall.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the Middlesex County Volunteer Rescue Squad, the Lower Middlesex Volunteer Fire Department, or the Catholic Church of the Visitation.
