Alma Louise Dungan

Alma Louise Dungan, 91, of Farmhan passed away Friday, July 17. She is now in the presence of her God and with her late husband, John Oldham, and her late two sons, John Winstead and David Rice Dungan.

Mrs. Dungan is survived by two sons and their wives, William (Bill) and Judy, and George and Jean; her daughter-in-law, Sandra Dungan; four grandsons, James, Johnny and Dusty Dungan, and Eric Messer; granddaughter, Sandy Dungan; and great-grandchildren Lindsey, Ryan, Austin, Nicholas, Madison and Devin Dungan.

“Mema Blue,” as she was called, had a special place in her heart for each of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was retired from Levi Strauss Company and a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church. She attended Vacation Bible School this past week (as she did each year) and was active in all areas of her church.  She loved her church family and was blessed with wonderful neighbors.

A celebration of her life was held at Bethany Baptist Church, Callao, on July 19. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to the Bethany Baptist Church Fellowship Hall Fund at P. O. Box 641, Callao, VA 22435.
