Julia Wray Hall Taylor, 83, of Deltaville passed away at home on Sunday, August 7, 2011 surrounded by her family. She was a life member of Zoar Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.C. Taylor, and her son Ricky. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey W. Hall and Myrtle R. Harrow.

Evelyn Garland Fleet, of Hartfield, widow of Dr. John I. Fleet Sr., passed from this life to eternal life with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 29, 2011. Evelyn was a longtime member of Lower United Methodist Church, where she served in many capacities, including chairperson and secretary of the Lower Church Cemetery Association.

Robert Leslie Stover, 87, of Church View went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Stover was a longtime employee of VEPCO and retired as a civil employee from Armed Forces Camp Perry, Williamsburg.
