James L. Dunn
James Lynwood Dunn, 72, passed away February 19, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Catherine; two sons. Maurice Aubrey and Michael Llewellyn; three grandchildren, Zachery Sellers, Alexandra Elizabeth and Marshall Llewellyn; mother, Bernice Carlton Dunn; and sister, Mary Audrey Tolcher.

Roberta Foster
Roberta Foster of Philadelphia, Pa., passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012. She is survived by her son, Julius Robinson; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Fred D. Holmes Jr. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Church View, at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 25. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Sylvia Dahn Hall
Sylvia Dahn Hall, 86, of Deltaville died Monday, February 20, 2012. She was an avid reader, gardener and volunteered with the Greeters Unit at Acca Temple in Richmond. She was an active member of Battery Park Christian Church while residing in Richmond, and after relocating to Deltaville, became an active member at Philippi Christian Church.

Many benefited knowing Wayne through his numerous civic generosities as a dedicated Past President of Preservation Greensboro, past Chairman of the City of Greensboro Historic Preservation Commission, founding member and active volunteer with Architectural Salvage of Greensboro, and passionate Past President of the Fisher Park Neighborhood Association.

imageMargaret was a loving and beloved partner to Richard B. Sisson in 50 years of ministry. She was a leader in the United Methodist Women, loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, secretary, and licensed practical nurse. She was born October 15, 1937.

Kay S. Arrington
Kay was born in Seoul, Korea, and came to America on July 7, 1959. She attended Western Maryland College, graduating with a B.S. in music, majoring in piano. She taught briefly in the public schools of Carroll County, Md., but spent years teaching private piano lessons. During her retirement years in Deltaville, she worked at the Christchurch School Post Office.
