Vernelle Colley Hunter, 84 of Water View, widow of John H. Hunter, died Thursday August 11, 2011. Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Saturday, August 13, in Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Saluda. Interment will be in Hermitage Baptist Church Cemetery, Church View.

Clifton D. Spencer Jr.
Clifton D. “Danny” Spencer Jr. of Deltaville departed this life on Thursday, August 4, 2011 to spend time with his mom and dad. He was retired from C&P Telephone with 31 years of service. Danny leaves behind many great memories of friends, cars, hunting, fishing and his love of the water.

She was preceded in death by her husband, D.C. Taylor, and her son Ricky. She was the daughter of the late Aubrey W. Hall and Myrtle R. Harrow.

Wanda H. Bukoski of Wake died Thursday, August 4, 2011. Born November 10, 1950, she was formerly employed by Signet Bank in Richmond and was a Realtor and associate broker in the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula region for a number of years. Wanda was last employed by Walmart in Kilmarnock.

Evelyn was a longtime member of Lower United Methodist Church, where she served in many capacities, including chairperson and secretary of the Lower Church Cemetery Association.

Robert L. Stover
Robert Leslie Stover, 87, of Church View went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 27, 2011. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Stover was a longtime employee of VEPCO and retired as a civil employee from Armed Forces Camp Perry, Williamsburg.
