Hazel B. Bray, 98, of Remlik died Saturday, February 26, 2011. She was the widow of Milford Bray and was also predeceased by a son, Jasper Bray. She was a member of Remlik Wesleyan Church.

Walter Sampson Boone Jr., 84, of Deltaville, passed away February 18, 2011 in Naples, Fla., after a brief illness. Mr. Boone was born in Macon, Georgia, and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Col. Calvin Coolidge Green, 79, of Quinton, son of the late Rev. James H. Green and Levalia Consula Deleaver Green of Laneview, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2011. He joined Union Shiloh Baptist Church at an early age. In 1977, Col. Green was installed as pastor of Lebanon Baptist Church, New Kent County.

On Monday, February 7, 2011, Shirley A. Bishop of Monkton, Md., passed away. Mrs. Bishop’s early career was a bank teller and later book keeper for Frank Leonard Clothier and for Northwood Appold United Methodist Church, and a unit clerk at Union Memorial Hospital.
