Howard J. Cook III
Howard “Howie” June Cook III, 31, of San Antonio, Texas, a native of West Point, died in a tragic motor vehicle accident July 7, 2011 by the hand of a wrong-way driver. Howie was a 1997 graduate of West Point High School and a 2001 VMI graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in history.

Paul Alcott, a former Urbanna resident, passed away May 18, 2011 in Orlando, Fla. He was born February 21, 1932 in Charlottesville. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Alcott; and six children.
