Wesley Christopher Greenwood Jr., a true Virginia waterman and sportsman, departed this life on Friday, May 25, 2012. Born in Stevensville, he soon found himself in Middlesex County where he lived out his later life on the water as a commercial fisherman. He also was a fur trader and trapper throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. He was the founder of Greenwood Fur and Scrap, currently Middlesex Metals.

Born at Locust Hill in Middlesex on October, 24, 1918, she was preceded in death by her husbands, William “Arthur” Hayes and Robert “Bob” Croxton: and grandchildren, Amy Brent Dawson and Christopher Lee Dawson.
