Larry Stone Shores Sr.
Mr. Shores was an early pioneer in establishing youth sports in the county. He organized and coached the Urbanna Midgets, later named the Urbanna Colts, a championship youth football team complete with cheerleaders that played in the Lower Northern Neck Midget Football League in 1966-67.
