Joseph Allen "Joe" Richardson, 84, of Powhatan, passed away November 12, 2010. Joe was a member of Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church and 345 AF&AM Masonic Lodge since 1949, the Powhatan Chamber of Commerce, and the Navy League Council of Richmond.

Calvin Flood Major, 84, of Richmond and Deltaville died November 4, 2010. He was a graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y., and sailed as a Midshipman cadet in World War II and served in the Navy in the Korean War.

John Michael Burgin, 62, of Topping, a security guard with the Richmond Times Dispatch, died suddenly Friday, November 12, 2010 at work. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 19, at Bristow-Faulkner Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Saluda.
