Ronald S. Rapp
Ronald Stanley (Ron) Rapp, 73, of Hartfield, formerly of Lancaster, Ohio, and Baltimore, Md., passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 at home. He served in the Air Force as an enlisted man, retired from Westinghouse after 25 years, held a commercial pilot's license, and was a flight instructor for the Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md.

Robertine B. Taylor, 76, of Urbanna, widow of Fred Taylor Sr., died Wednesday, February 24, 2010. She is survived by her children, Connie Deagle and husband Walter of Deltaville, and Fred Taylor Jr. and wife Nancy of Glenns; and grandchildren, Ellen, Taylor, Matthew and Allison.

He was a sailor, a dad, and he loved nature. He proudly served on the USS Daniel Webster and was a veteran of Vietnam with the US Navy. Bill obtained a PhD of Statistics and worked as a professor for Virginia Tech, Virginia Institute of Marine Science, and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
