Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy physically confined him to a wheelchair for most of his life, but his imagination, energy and sense of proportion soared confidently through his art. He was named Artist of the Month at a branch of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh. He also had his Haiku poetry published.
