A Celebration of John’s Life will be held at noon on Friday, November 18, at Bethia United Methodist Church in Chesterfield with the family receiving friends for an hour prior, from 11 a.m.-noon.

Joseph Preston “Butch” Lassiter, 64, of Hartfield died peacefully October 29, 2016, at his home with his wife Donna by his side and family present. Joe was owner of Colony Electric Inc., Gloucester. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, on Saturday, November 5, from noon-1:30 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:30 p.m.

Clarence Edward (Buck) Milby, 83, of Glenns went to be with the Lord on October 28, 2016. He was born on June 24, 1933 to Thomas and Kate Milby. He was retired from the Chesapeake Corporation and a member of First Assembly of God at Shacklefords. He also served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955.
