Anita South Wilson Wrightson, a lifelong resident of Saluda and widow of Robert E. Wilson Sr., died Saturday, August 27, 2016. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 11408 Salem Church Road, Gloucester. Rev. Edward P. Harrow Sr., Rev. Rita Staul and Rev. Robert Marsh will officiate.

Donald Rae Deese, 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at his home in Hartfield. One of 13 children, he is survived by Marilyn and Frank, as well as his sweetheart Nancy Roth, daughters Felicia Marie Deese and Carissa Ann Murray, and six grandchildren.

She was the oldest child of David and Thea Dudley Davenport, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on March 14, 1917, and was raised by her uncle and aunt, Daniel and Celestine Dudley Lockley, in Christchurch.
