Virginia Lee Hunt passed away peacefully at her home on January 14, 2015, after a brief battle with cancer. Ginny was born in Richmond on November 21, 1931, to Aubrey Lee Hunt Jr. and Virginia Womble Crenshaw Hunt.

With The Holmes Brothers he toured the world and released 12 albums. The group’s most recent release was 2014’s “Brotherhood” on Alligator Records.
