Gilbert Glenn Olsen II, 56, died March 25 in his Abingdon, Maryland, home. Gilbert was employed at the APG and retired in December 2013 after 28 years of service as a chemical engineer. He was awarded a patent in 2007.

Dallas R. Thomas, 76, died peacefully at home March 26, 2015. He was the son of Avery L. and Eula Seward Thomas and lived his entire life in Hartfield. Funeral services were held March 29 at Lower United Methodist Church, Hartfield.
