Sally E. Kerns
Sally Emerson Kerns, 43, of Gloucester died Wednesday, April 28, 2010 peacefully at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. Sally was a 1985 graduate of Gloucester High School and volunteered many years with the Abingdon Volunteer Rescue Squad. She was currently a probation officer with Middle Peninsula Local Probation and Pretrial Services.

Kent was born on May 30, 1948 to Abraham and Mary Frances Johnson in Plainfield, N.J.. He graduated from St. Clare Walker High School in 1965 and from Virginia Union University in 1969. Kent honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity-Gamma Chapter.

Delvin was born in Middlesex County and lived his entire life in Saluda. He attended school in Middlesex and joined Immanuel Baptist Church at an early age. He served faithfully as an usher until illness forced his retirement.
