Middlesex wants to end dumping of effluent into Urbanna Creek
The Middlesex County Board of Supervisors voted on July 2 to encourage the Hampton Roads Sanitation Department (HRSD) to stop discharging sub-standard treated sewage into Urbanna Creek—and to move forward, “as soon as possible,” with plans to build a treatment system that will carry Middlesex waste to a treatment facility on the York River.
