Town dog confinement begins Monday
Starting November 9 and continuing through November 18, dogs in Urbanna must be “confined to the homes or lots of their owners,” under a provision of the town code. Dogs can be walked on a leash or “under immediate control” during the confinement period.
Dogs found running free will be picked up by town personnel. Violations could cost the owner $75 for the first offense and $150 for the second and subsequent offenses, states the code. See Public Notice on page B10 inside this issue.
