Thank you for helping Habitat reach its goals

Habitat House #10

In 2015, Habitat for Humanity Middlesex (HfHM) set a goal of building two homes a year for families in Middlesex County that need help purchasing a home. Thanks to tremendous support from generous donors in our community, local merchants, local business services, local contractors and contracting services and a grant from River Counties Community Foundation, HfHM will reach that goal for the second year in a row.

Habitat does not give away homes. From the application process to house dedication, our community works together to give Middlesex families a safer environment and a brighter future. Habitat Middlesex adopted the motto: We provide strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter.

“Most importantly we move people from hoping for a better life to the opportunity of having one through the dream of home ownership,” said Middlesex Habitat President Jackie Wake. “And in the process this helps our community by providing stability for the family and adds to our local real estate tax base.”
