by Larry Chowning

Pinetop District supervisor and board chair Chip Holt recently started the ball rolling when he suggested establishing multi-use paths from marinas in Deltaville into the village portion of the community.

Holt said the county has started preliminary work to find funding and ways to obtain easements in the Deltaville area for the path. He said that during the county’s last try at a bike path, no easements were obtained.
