State Police make arrests over the weekend
As a result of increased enforcement patrols conducted by the Virginia State Police on November 2-3, several arrests were made, reported First Sergeant Caren M. Sterling.
In addition to several drivers in Middlesex County cited for driving on a suspended license, an individual was arrested on a felony warrant for failing to comply with a court order and four other warrants related to hazardous material violations.
Another individual was arrested for drunk in public and also was served with an outstanding warrant for failure to appear, said Sgt. Sterling.
Three individuals were arrested for driving under the influence. All of these arrests were made in Middlesex County.
In another matter, four units of the Virginia State Police responded to a domestic disturbance In Deltaville on Saturday at about 11 a.m., she said.
