Senator Mark Obenshain to visit Middlesex Tuesday
Republican Attorney General candidate Mark Obenshain will be in Middlesex County for a “whistle stop” tour to meet local residents on Tuesday, May 7. His stops will include visits to several of the area’s favorite lunch destinations and employment hubs.
The senator will arrive around 11 a.m. and will begin his stops at The Galley Restaurant in Deltaville, then will continue up the county to Dano’s in Hartfield, Atlantic Metals in Topping, Debbie’s Restaurant in Locust Hill, and Virginia Street Café and Marshall’s Drug Store in Urbanna. He will end his tour at about 1:15 p.m. with a visit to the Middlesex County Courthouse Complex in Saluda.
The son of Dick Obenshain, the man often dubbed the architect of the modern Republican Party of Virginia, Senator Obenshain developed a passion for politics and a zeal for public service early in life, and he has emerged as one of the Commonwealth’s leading champions of limited government, individual liberty, and personal responsibility, according to a local GOP spokesperson.
All are invited to meet Senator Obenshain at any of the scheduled restaurant stops on May 7.
