Parents of 6-year old driver arraigned

HEATHSVILLE—The parents of the 6-year-old boy who tried to drive himself to school were arraigned in Northumberland County Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Friday morning on charges of child neglect.
Jacqulyn Deana Waltman, 26, and David Eugene Dodson, 40, of Browns Store Road in Heathsville are each charged with one count of Class 6 felony child endangerment.
Dodson was released on a $5,000 bond Tuesday morning. Waltman remains in jail pending a bond hearing that has been set for 2 p.m. today (Friday).
The judge appointed lawyers to both defendents and set a preliminary hearing for March 20.
