Marchers seek ‘justice for all’

About 200 people held a peaceful march in Saluda last Saturday to show support for Trayvon Martin, the 17-year-old who was shot and killed in Florida recently.

The march was organized by the Middlesex NAACP. The march started (above) at Middlesex High School and proceeded to the historic courthouse in Saluda, and then back to MHS.

“The Middlesex NAACP would like to thank all who were involved in making this event happen and for the many donations,” said county NAACP president Mark Lomax. “This event was not about race, nor was it about who is guilty or innocent, it was about asking for justice for all people.”
