Elizabeth Wilding, Nadya Crader reign over 61st Oyster Festival

Elizabeth Wilding was crowned Queen of the 61st Urbanna Oyster Festival and Nadya Crader was crowned Little Miss Spat at the Urbanna Firehouse on Friday, November 2.

As Urbanna Oyster Festival Queen, Wilding received a $4,500 college scholarship. As Little Miss Spat, Nadya Crader received $150.

There was a three way tie for the Queen’s first runner-up between Erin Daddario, Hannah Jackson and Payton St. Louis. Each received $2,500 scholarships. No second runner-up was named.

There was a tie for the Best Community Service Project, so Hannah Jackson and Erin Daddario each received a $250 scholarship.

The Academic Achievement Award went to Payton St. Louis, for which she was awarded an additional $250 scholarship.

Other Queen contestants included Clarista Hampton, Lily Maydole, MaKenzie Bristow and Sydney Hudson, who were each awarded $500 scholarships.

Lilliana Burch was first runner-up for Little Miss Spat and received $100. Aubri Harris was second runner-up for Little Miss Spat and received $50.

Other Little Miss Spat contestants included Aleah Brock, Madelaine Gretz, Stella Johnson and Avery Martin.
