Candidate filing deadline is June 11
The deadline to qualify as a candidate in the 2013 Middlesex County elections is Tuesday, June 11, at 7 p.m. The general election is November 5.
As of May 28, four candidates had filed in Middlesex.
Peter W. “Pete” Mansfield is seeking a second term on the Middlesex Board of Supervisors representing the Saluda District.
Trudy V. Feigum has filed as a candidate for the Hartfield representative on the Middlesex Board of Supervisors. The seat is currently held by Carlton Revere, who had not filed as of May 28.
Richard J. Shores is seeking another term on the Middlesex County Public School Board representing the Saluda District.
No one has filed for the Pinetop District School Board seat, which is currently held by Garland Harrow.
Not on the ballot in November are the Pinetop District supervisor seat, the Hartfield District school board seat, and the school board seat and supervisor seat in the Jamaica District.
