Arson & attempted murder trial begins Sept. 3
Arthur R. Bracke’s trial for arson of a dwelling and attempted first-degree murder is scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, at 1 p.m. in Middlesex Circuit Court.
Bracke will have a “bench trial” before Judge William T. Shaw III. The trial is expected to take a half day, attorneys said.
Allegedly, Bracke set fire to the house he was renting in Wake where his then 19-year-old adopted son was sleeping on November 17, 2007.
He was apprehended in Maryland the same day and has been jailed since then.
