Arrests made in car break-ins

by Tom Chillemi

The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office (MSO) was unusually busy in December. While trying to solve more than a dozen break-ins in Urbanna, on December 11 six vehicles were broken into in the Piankatank Shores subdivision of Hartfield, reported MSO Major M.E. Sampson.

In addition, a car was broken into and a stolen vehicle was reported in Deltaville.

With assistance from the Henrico County Police Department, three suspects were apprehended and charged with crimes in Middlesex on December 18, said Major Sampson.

Charged were Hunter Waddell and Dillon Davis and a juvenile. All three are from the Richmond area. In addition, the stolen vehicle was recovered.

Items stolen during the vehicle break-ins include credit cards, cash, a firearm and hunting equipment. The firearm and hunting equipment were recovered.

“The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank the community, as well as Henrico County Police Department, for their cooperation in this investigation,” said Major Sampson.
