Commissioner: Actual Middlesex boat tax is 98 cents per $100 of value
At its January meeting, the Middlesex County Board of Supervisors discussed what “the actual” county boat tax rate is. This week Middlesex Commissioner of the Revenue Bonnie Davenport clarified the matter when she reported that the “actual rate” is 98 cents per $100 of the boat’s value.
