Hearing on Urbanna Historic District is Monday
The Urbanna Town Council will hold a public hearing on Monday, December 15, at 7 p.m. at the town hall on a proposal to shrink the boundaries of the town’s Historic District.

Not so very long ago, a developer proposed building three-story condos on Urbanna Creek near the bridge. Only one citizen spoke at the Urbanna Town Council public hearing on that special use permit in 2006. That same night, council approved the permit with a 4-3 vote. Many town citizens were shocked.
